We are excited to share the latest issue of Context Magazine, one of the most significant and valuable outcomes of the “learning-by-doing” philosophy we have established in our faculty. In this issue, we turned our focus toward the intellectual world of Jean Baudrillard. We had the privilege of exploring Baudrillard’s theories through the insights of Professor Oğuz Adanır, while our students shed light on these complex concepts through their own articles.
This issue also hosted several exclusive interviews conducted by our students. They delved into the “Didik Didik Freud” podcast—which we, as faculty members, hold in high regard within the context of publishing and content creation—through a captivating conversation with Şenol Ayla, described as a “scientific fairy tale.” Our students also spoke with Azize Tan about the past and present of cinema and the inspiring cultural fabric they have built in Ayvalık. Furthermore, we explored the future of journalism and alternative content production with Ahmet Alphan Sabancı.
From the professors on the editorial board to the students behind the original illustrations, this issue is the result of incredible teamwork. With each passing issue, we are proud to see more students encouraged to produce, as both our team and our content continue to expand. We invite you to explore this intellectual effort and creative enthusiasm.
